I am pleased to report that the dreadlocked Duvet turtle, that I had temporarily fostered from site, has been returned to the wild and is doing well.He has been well fed and looked after and seemed in high spirits when I left him.I will be returning to site this friday, so will keep you updated on any progress. Pixi. x

The 122 hectare site will have one million tonnes of coal ripped out over five years and 'returned back to its natural state' according to UK Coal, however residents fear there may be more to the plot, as they were excluded from parts of the planning meeting on grounds of commercial confidentiality.
Terrorists use surveillance to help plan attacks, taking photos and making notes about security measures like the location of CCTV cameras. If you see someone doing that, we need to know. Let experienced officers decide what action to take.
